On April 1st, I had the pleasure of meeting Emily + James for their vowel renewal. Just like many brides, their wedding reception was postponed due to Covid. Fortunately, they were able to host a reception on their original date, surrounded by their family and friends.
Putting on the dress is one of my favorite parts of the wedding day.
Once the bride puts on her dress, things feel REAL. The minute the dress is on everyone is smiling. It’s like magic. Bippity Boppity Boo!
At this specific wedding, we had Emily, her mother, and her sister put on her wedding dress. We had some extra time, I suggested we do a first look with her bridesmaids, and Emily being the wonderful bride she is, was absolutely down.

One magic moment after the other James finally arrived. We did the first look in the Tunnel of Ramblewood. SUPER COOL. One of the things that stood out to me about this couple was James was very attentive to Emily. It was very endearing and sweet to see. Emily was just absolutely stunning and just GLOWING.
I’d also like to add, by looking at these pictures you would never know it was 59 degrees and windy. They were champs throughout the entire process. The Jolly’s know how to party!
