This April, I was able to hold my first ever Mini Sessions. This Mini Session Theme was Boho Style. I ended up ordering a tent from Amazon, a rug, a record player, and a couple of pillows to fit the aesthetic. Hobby Lobby was also a great help in finding fake plants for the session and the infamous letter board that just about everyone uses in their home.
For this session, I did ask everyone to dress for the theme for optimal results in their photos. Everyone came dressed beautifully and I couldn’t have asked for more!
If you’re planning on hosting your own mini session, I HIGHLY suggest using Sessions. Sessions is a platform for photographers and event coordinators that help make booking painless. I scheduled my clients every 30 min with one 20 minutes in between. Sessions let you set your deposit amount, the amount of time between bookings, and send out contracts, while also sending out reminders the day before.
